Treedom allows anyone in the world to plant a tree, no matter where they are, and follow the story of the project where their particular tree was planted. To ensure full transparency, every single tree is geolocated and photographed with regular updates about the project posted on an online Tree Diary. Every tree even has a unique code, so it can be given as a gift. Such a connection allows Treedom to create a lasting bond between people. Since its foundation in Florence, Italy in 2010, Treedom has planted almost 3 million trees with the support of over 100,000 farmers across 17 countries, including Kenya, Colombia, Guatemala, and Cameroon.
