Meet Florian, Manager Product Strategy & Instore Activation at Yakult HQ Almere
What is your role within Yakult?
I am manager Product Strategy and in-store activation and in this role I am responsible for the packaging design and (re)formulation of our current products and also for the potential new product ideas that we want to launch in Europe. In this role I am working closely together with a wide range of disciplines inside the central marketing team, but also with all local marketing departments, production and the global HQ in Japan.
Why did you choose Yakult?
I studied Japanese and marketing at university and have spent several years in Japan. In my different roles at Yakult I have always been able to combine my knowledge of Japanese and marketing and found that having experience in both is a valuable asset for many projects.
What do you like about your job?
Choosing to start somewhere is one thing, choosing to stay at Yakult for as long as I have is because of the great people, a great brand and the international setting. It looks simple: little bottles with good bacteria. But there is a whole world behind the little bottles that never gets boring, and working to get that message out to consumers with great colleagues is a fun ride.
