In 2021 a growth strategy has been defined within the Yakult Group in Europe that is driving many positive changes. The direction that has been chosen is to give more strategic guidance, coordination, and support from the European Head Quarters in Almere, to create both more effectiveness as well as efficiency/scale in (pan-EU) activities.

As part of this strategy a largely new marketing department of ten people is being built at Yakult Europe. You will be a key member of the compact, dynamic digital team of four, guided by the Manager of Digital Strategy & Solutions, within this marketing team. The digital team is aimed at driving digital innovation and effectiveness. It involves extensive digital communication and support for our operational teams across various countries, ensuring cohesive strategy implementation and operational excellence from our headquarters to each local office.

As a Digital Project Manager – CMS & Web Developer, you’ll be instrumental in this evolution. Your primary focus will be to support our local operating companies (OpCos) with their, country specific WordPress websites, optimizing these platforms for branding and SEO to maximize our digital footprint. You’ll offer technical WordPress and SEO support and occasionally spearhead projects aimed at developing new WordPress components or potentially launching a web shop pilot. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our digital presence, ensuring our brand continues to resonate with consumers in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Unique within the team, this role requires an individual who can independently drive digital support and occasional projects, bringing a wealth of experience.

In order to enjoy your work and perform this role well, you must have the following characteristics and skills:

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Technical Business Management or related.
• Working experience:
  • Extensive experience with new development of WordPress sites Experience with technical SEO optimization
  • Some experience with facilitating workshops / training sessions
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with managing agencies
  • Extensive experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console

• A competitive salary that matches your knowledge and experience, with an indication of €5,000 per month based on 40 hours
• A variable bonus scheme (5-12% of the annual salary).
• 27 days of leave, with the possibility to purchase a maximum of 5 days extra;
• A fulltime position (32 hours is negotiable) and a one-year contract, with the intention to convert into an open end contract after a year.
